Interesting piece. However, we are slightly different than the British, as our empire is not focused on a Navy. But, we currently use the Chinese as the British used us for cheap labor.

I think the problem of the future is the environment, nad when these massive countries (China, India, Brazil) decide to strive for the American Dream, how are we going to keep a healthy living planet. Obviously this has been in every newspaper for the last year. But the U.S. population is a mere figure compared to China.
